CUSTOM HOME CONSTRUCTION
Our clients generally own the land parcel prior to construction. With desirable building lots at an increasingly high premium in Anne Arundel County, we frequently conduct complete or partial tear downs of existing homes in order to rebuild in their place. We will consult with architects, engineers, financial institutions, and county permitting officials to ensure the client’s envisioned project is feasible from an engineering, legal, and budgetary standpoint. We can then offer our clients two primary management/construction service levels.
- The “Turn Key” Build
Apogee manages the entire custom project from ground breaking to job completion and 100% client satisfaction. After Apogee’s services are complete, the client must simply turn the key to their new home.
- The “Shell Package” Build
The “shell package” build begins at groundbreaking and includes excavation, foundations, framing, windows and doors, roofing, siding, grading, stormwater management, etc. in order to complete the outside “shell” of the home. The client can then work at their own pace and budget to complete the home using either Apogee recommended subcontractors or their own preferences. This is often a money saving approach to home construction, but requires a lot of leg work from the clients.

ADDITIONS AND REMODELING
Sometimes our clients only need a bit more living space, a garage, a new roof, new siding, or an updated kitchen or bathroom. Apogee will work with clients to enhance their design ideas and provide a proposal that will increase the value and utility of their home. Every remodeling project is different and potentially complex – there is no standard construction format or approach. Apogee’s skilled craftsmen have the experience and knowledge to anticipate potential pit falls and solve unexpected complexities with innovative design solutions.

Beware of the rock-bottom priced remodeler who promises job completion at incredibly low prices. They may intend on using unskilled labor or low quality building materials. Even the well intentioned, yet inexperienced contractor may severely underestimate a remodeling job’s cost and will cut corners to avoid a financial loss. CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT
Apogee can offer a job site supervisor who works with clients to select and schedule subcontractors, select and order building products, and manage overall job quality control. Billing is either done hourly or as a percentage of the entire job cost.

ARCHITECTURE DESIGN
Apogee can provide small scale residential design services for additions, decks, porches, and accessory structures.
EXCAVATION SERVICES
Lot clearing, footings, grading, backfill, driveways, demolition, etc. We bid all machine work on a per job basis or an hourly rate with an operator.
